Book Synopsis
“GO after it!” I know that these words may come across with a forward tone, but that is necessary to get the point of this book across to you the reader. As we enter the uncharted territory of a new decade, the new roaring 20s--we are faced with the daunting news of a deadly virus that is striking fear in many, the saddening news of devastating wildfires that ravaged the exotic wildlife of Australia’s outback, the tragic death of a relatively young and beloved sports icon and the volatile political climate of an increasingly partisan electoral landscape—the idea of launching out into new territories of discovery and experience is probably the farthest thing from many of our minds. However, I think that this environment in which many are cowering in fear and trepidation about what negative thing or catastrophic event will happen next is the optimal time for those of us that attempt to live our lives with the view of seeing opportunity in every crisis.

“GO after it!” is a book that is birthed out of a period in my life when I literally saw the only option available to me was to get up and go after it again. A time when I had found myself stagnated, and unmotivated, wanting to quit because a path that I had sought to take had now become bogged down with disappointment and discouragement. To go after for me became a point of reigniting purpose and drive. It is to first make the solidifying but motivating decision that you are all in. So many people proverbially die and get buried in the graveyard of consideration where dreams and aspirations never get activated. Most of us can write volumes about the goals and inspiring visions that we’ve had about this or that, but those goals and visions largely have remained just that in our lives-accomplished, sometimes lofty hopes that have failed to materialize.

This book is a clarion call to those that are in that place—stuck and seeking motivation.
