Book Synopsis
Girl, you are Magic, is the first book by author, Ashley Aya Ferguson. This inspirational illustrated poem was inspired by a conversation with Ferguson's daughter about confidence and how the things that others say impact us. It is her hope that this book will remind girls and young women just how magical they are.

I borrowed this book from my daughter to show to the Girls' Mentoring Group at Jalen Rose Leadership Academy. I found it delightful and of course easy to read. Also it may be easy for girls to put a rhyme in their heads that hopefully they can memorize and play it back when they are pressed on all sides to believe in themselves and persevere through.
