Book Synopsis
As a traditional martial artist, I have seen a wave of changes in martial arts classes, in both how they are run, as well as what is being taught today. I see a marked decline in the teachings of the traditional arts. Over the last five years I have had conversations with many other teachers who still teach a traditional martial arts class. While we have varied opinions as to why this decline is happening, we are all in agreement that we need to change this direction, otherwise, many of us fear that the way we have lived and taught may become just a memory.
