Book Synopsis
Born just before the outbreak of World War II, Dahlheimer began his career as a Catholic priest in an inner-city parish on the city's North Side. He earned his private pilot license while still in the priesthood, and later operated a municipal airport at Washington, Missouri.
In his "middle" career he served as executive vice president of a Washington, D.C.-based real estate network. In the "entrepreneurial" phase of his life, he created another national real estate network, The Real Estate Buyers Agent Council and published "The Real Estate Professional" magazine.
After writing many technical books, he turned to fiction, with "Duplicity" (2016), a story of infidelity and deceit, and "Operation Pegasus" (2017), a chilling novel about a terrorist plot to kidnap thousands of high school children to use as body shields in the advance of ISIS across North Africa.
"Footprints in the Sand" chronicles his family's history, from eighteenth century Germany into the twenty-first century.
