Book Synopsis
In this life, there are no quick fixes around faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God! Your understanding of God is critical to your growth in faith.
Faith is like the muscles in your body. Exercising, push-ups, and workouts don’t give you more muscles. It is designed to build up and strengthen what you already have. So, if you belong to God, you already have all the faith you need. The more you allow yourself to trust God, and the more you rely upon and lean on God, the stronger your faith becomes. Yes, you may need more God, but you don’t need more faith.
Faith is the assurance that what God says about tomorrow; you can live like it’s happening today. I know, you can’t see it now. I know it’s not visual now. But faith says, ‘try on God’s binoculars.’ Faith says, ‘look through God’s telescope.’ Then even when you can’t see it, you can still obey God. And if you want real faith; then you need a better understanding of God. Not only that, but your trials will let you know if you really believe. Every now and then, God will put you to the test to strengthen your faith. Your faith will be rewarded when you trust God. Your faith will not go unnoticed. God will brag on you like he bragged on Job.

Finally, a life of faith views all experiences from a divine perspective. Faith views life from God’s perspective. Verse 3 says, ‘By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God. So that, what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. The Greek word for “world” is ages. He’s talking about more than this terrestrial ball called Earth. He’s talking about the Universe.

So if we’re going to live by faith, we must first get a divine perspective. We must que in on faith.
