Book Synopsis
In the year 2000, an out of work reporter is approached by a man who is not whom he appears to be. Lured into a romantic affair with him, the reporter is soon to lose everything—her family, her home, her country and nearly her life.

EXILE is the true story of Janet Phelan, who fled the US after the attempts to permanently silence her went awry. The lengths to which the intelligence community will go to cover their tracks is revealed in this memoir. The ultimate question—what is the meaning behind this grave assault on an American citizen—unfolds as the story is told.

"Exile" may be the most important book you read this year, or this decade.  In this chilling, true account of the shocking, heart-wrenching events surrounding the murder of her mother, and her frighteningly dangerous years in pursuit of the truth and for justice, join well-known journalist Janet Phelan as she courageously faces the very worst type of enemies--those  powerful individuals embedded in the U.S. legal and political system through which she must maneuver, who have their own 'methods' and agendas,  and whose efforts to keep her quiet have included kidnapping, assault, and attempted murder.
Phelan delivers.  Her high intellect and lightening quick survival instinct, coupled with her unshakable dedication to thorough investigation and truthful reporting, is the formula by which she has earned the trust of readers for years.  "Exile" is no exception, and even as the author is running for her life she is making observations and taking notes.  The reader is the beneficiary of her genius, and the book, which is extremely hard to put down even for a minute, will give readers many "aha!" moments as they realize they have witnessed things at some point that are part of some little-known, but commonly occurring, hidden conspiracy that has much more control over people and is much more prevalent and dangerous than most  imagine.
Phelan is a hero of our time.  Danger, uncertainty, and betrayal on a massive scale cannot shake her from her cause, which is beautifully simple and magnificently compassionate--to be good and to do good out of love.

"Exile" Delivers With Power and Grace

Activist Post

Readers might be familiar with the investigative journalism of Janet Phelan. Her reporting has appeared in various mainstream and alternative media publications, primarily in the areas of conservatorship, as well as her international coverage of bioweapons.

What readers probably don't know is how closely intertwined her research is with her personal life.

Exile is Janet Phelan's 350-page personal testimony of the lengths to which the intelligence community will go to surveil and intimidate. As her harrowing personal story unfolds, so too the unfolding implications for all American citizens.

The first third of Janet Phelan's story begins at the dawn of the millennium as she finds herself out of work following a series of "coincidences" in which a multitude of shadowy players begin to wreak havoc with her life.

Her ensuing soul searching and desire to escape a growing destructive cycle is told in a unique introspective and existential weaving of memoir, poetry and adventure. It is an account that takes the reader with her across the country amid bouts of financial destitution, and eventually to locales abroad as she seeks to restart what has been derailed.

Never far from her journey is the backdrop of her family - her mother who becomes a potential victim of elder abuse; and her father whose own journalistic integrity spurs Janet on to uncover and communicate the truth behind the many facades of justice in which she has become entangled.

The latter sections of Exile highlight why this otherwise personal account is a must-read for all concerned Americans, especially in a post-9/11 world where the gloves have come off and even frayed legal protections have been abandoned completely.

Exile documents a government that is willing to issue kill orders on non-terrorist targets who are American citizens residing within its borders. Moreover, even for those wishing to drop off the radar by residing abroad, Exile issues a cautionary tale about just how long the reach of persecution can extend in order to deny legal rights and recourse to those who have been targeted.

Readers of alternative media will find themselves recognizing the threatening signposts as they begin to emerge from this fast-paced recounting of events. For those who might not be familiar with topics such as conservatorship, the use of mental health facilities as de facto prisons, or the various methods of bioweapons delivery, ample historical precedent is offered for further study.

Readers will be led through the evidence - including nearly 50 pages of exhibits - that the journey of one individual is but a microcosm of the larger journey we are all traveling amid the turmoil of the Middle East, the War on Terror, and the complex global chessboard of political power.

This guy is obviously a government agent trying to discredit Janet Phelan. We, my husband and I, being public access TV producers in Manhattan and Woodstock, have dealt with free speech violations of our work and we have covered many stories of corrupt courts, corporate prison systems, and the complete destruction of our constitutional form of government. We have been evicted illegally from our Gramercy Park co-op in New York City and have suffered defamation of character all because we cover stories that the mainstream media will not touch. We applaud Janet Phelan's courage and stand for truth and educating the people of how corrupt those that are supposed to serve us have become. Any person who has been wronged by the judicial system or the political system and ties to expose this corruption is targeted and for this person Petes Farm to attack Janet Phelan obviously is either working for the government to discredit her or so out of touch that he can't see the corruption and usurpation of the fundamental rights that have been eroded. - Joe Barton and Paula Gloria

This sounds like an interesting book. The International media's attention is on Edward Snowden and Julian Assange and their exiles, but no one was hardly told about Janet's exile. I only found out by accident. I'm afraid to say that not only America is becoming a third world dictatorship, it is also run by ex-Nazis. Bit by bit the Third Reich has taken over the White House (look at the book's cover) and now America (and the European Union) will become Nazi run Dictatorships. Look how quickly the Obama Administration puts sanctions on Russia (who's next, China?). President Putin views America and the EU, as the same way Commander Stalin viewed Hitler's Germany. America's fall will be very bad, real baaaad!!!

Truth really is stranger than fiction. Conspiracy deniers could do no better than to investigate american medicine's assault on children starting at birth, and contemplate what this organized, sadistic cruelty has done to american society.
How is it possible? It's not possible, and yet there it is:

I know for a fact that luciferianism is alive and flourishing at the heart of western "civilization". Not just by looking at the fruits of their actions, but through personal knowledge. Think about it: there is no other philosophy that could accommodate the central bankers' business model of war and imposed economic cycles.
If it's not apparent to you yet that we are under a mass depopulation program, it will be.
We americans have been cultivated for a long time. Now it's time for the harvest.

Wanted to buy Janet Phelan's book as an e-book, but The Book Patch permits payment only through PayPal, a firm that I do not use on principle. Moreover, The Book Patch has no e-mail contact address, only a phone number. I am not going to phone from abroad at my expense and their convenience. Seems like a half-scam outfit. Sorry Janet.

Excellent book! Five years ago I would have had trouble believing this information. I worked as a District Court Clerk, CASA Volunteer and worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office. Then we became involved in a professional guardianship fraud case, which is the number one crime against the elderly in America (and internationally) - our whole world was turned upside down. Since that devastating experience, I have met and spoken with literally hundreds of others who are attempting to get the word out about these crimes since the information is not posted in the regular media. Our friend was a victim. He was tortured, robbed and eventually killed for his money by the court, attorneys, guardian and other professionals. This is not just the elderly and disabled, divorced parents and their children find the same if not worse problems as family members are trafficked through the U.S. courts for money.

Ms. Phelan is a marvelous journalist, and she is not alone in being hunted down for speaking out. This book gives the rest of us insight into the horrors that can only get worse if we don't understand what is happening. Ms. Phelan has courage, wisdom and perseverance. I have since met others who are or have experienced the same types of life threatening issues because of their knowledge. Thank you Janet Phelan!
