I am ash. I am dust. I'm what's left from a fire that burned so completely, there seems no need to put it out. And deep down in that pile of ash, that pile of charred remains, a glowing ember burns intently. That is my core, that ember. It is the fight in me, and it feels stronger every minute. About The Author
At 41, this California native, has called Arkansas home for nearly 30 years, where she has raised her children and cemented life-long friendships. A writer since a young age, she developed a love of adventure and hero stories thanks to her Father's love of Sci-Fi and her own love of Superheroes. She is drawn to the silent defenders, who stand up for the underdogs but seek no attention from the outside world for it, taking note from humanity itself. Halfway through her first novel, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart and remarried. She will soon move back to California until retirement, where they plan to reside in Oklahoma and travel the world, continuing her love of adventure stories and finding inspiration in every day heroes.
