Book Synopsis
DUSTY: The Adventures of a Puppy Mill Survivor is the heart-warming true story of a little Pomeranian rescued in 2008 by the National Mill Dog Rescue organization. The book follows her from her rescue to her adventures in Florida, Alaska, Colorado, and beyond. Her favorite trip was kayaking part of the Colorado River, hiking and camping along the way.
The book also highlights the work of National Mill Dog Rescue, which - at the time of publication - has rescued over 9,000 dogs. The organization has grown from a backyard operation to one with over 1,300 volunteers.
In her too-few years of freedom, Dusty had more adventures than most people will have in a lifetime.
