Book Synopsis
As you embark on this book study, my desire for you is to take the time away from the daily duties of life and read and re-read each chapter. Make notes in your text, personalize this text, and use it as a springboard to challenge you in both your walk and growth as a disciple of Christ. While the title tends to seem, this is going to be a book about only moral failures in the contemporary church, it is really a historical, theological, breakdown of scripture giving us an in-depth look into the seven churches in Revelation and seeing how eerily similar we are. How what challenges that face the church in America are not too far off from the challenges the ancient Roman Christians faced. My overall intension of this book is that you take the time needed, as you read and discussed each chapter, whether in a Sunday school class setting, small group setting on a personal devotional setting, take the time to self-evaluate where you are in your personal walk as a disciple of Christ.

During my over 40 years in the ministry, I have spoken many times on chapters two and three of the book of Revelation. God has a powerful message for His church. Mike has broken it down and provided critical information, and a better interpretation in many places of these two chapters. You will not find a commentary with better background information, and a more evangelical interpretation of this passage.

The church needs to respond to God's call in Revelations chapter two and three, before it is too late. The time has come for every church and individual to take stock in their spiritual journey. Mike does a great job of showing the way to getting back to where God expects us to be.

The Bible teaches that there is a special blessing for those believers who study the book of Revelation. You will be blessed and motivated as you read "Christianity at the Crossroads".

"Given the direction our culture and the world is moving, the Church needs the reminders and the challenge found in the churches in Revelation 2-3. This book offers that challenge for the church and the individual Christian to examine their faithfulness to the call of Christ." Dr. Allyn Ricketts. “How does the Church remain loyal to Jesus and laser focused on the Kingdom of God amidst cultural forces that often contradict the Gospel? This book helps us wrestle with that question and invites us to return to our “first love” (Revelation 2:4). Rev. Brett Dinger, Pastor and chairs the Indiana District Committee serves on the District Committee on Ministry and Conference Board of Ordained Ministry
