Book Synopsis
Young Miss Alysoun unhappily accompanies her aunt, Dame Alys, on a pilgrimage to Rome after surviving the Black Death that claimed most of their family and community. Embarrassed by her loud and demanding aunt, they accompany a colorful pageant of pilgrims through a Europe recovering from a lingering and deadly epidemic.
About The Author
Dr. Barbara Jaye specializes in interdisciplinary research on Medieval literature, art, dance, architecture, theater and iconography. Leveraging her knowledge of life in those times she wrote a historical novel presenting a pageant of personalities and authentic experiences.
