Book Synopsis
Hearing about made up adventures is fun and all, but isn't going on one better? Not if your Billy and your stuck in the pond all the time. "There's safety in the pond!" is the mantra and no bullfrog that has left has ever returned. Is that true or is it said to scare everyone into staying in the pond? Follow along with Billy as he answers the question, is there really only safety in the pond?
What Billy doesn't know is, outside the pond is snakes, foxes and birds... oh my! All on the look out for their next meal. If Billy knew this, maybe he would listen when his dad says to stay in the pond.
