Book Synopsis
This book goes behind the scenes, deep into the world of insurance, litigation, and the way that world works. There is no “universal standard” by which forensic engineering firms are judged. There are a ton of opinions, relationships, and other skewed perspectives. In this book, you go into the world of forensic engineering, and see things in the light of day. This is a pull-no-punches, hard critique of some of the best of the best, and worst of the worst. Hopefully, this book provides an excellent “big picture” perspective on the whole industry and business challenges, allowing the reader to both understand the dynamics at play as well as develop their own appropriate strategy to win.

As a veteran of 12+ years in the forensic engineering space I found this book to be spot on regarding all aspects of the profession. If you manage a forensic engineering sales force this book is an absolute "must read" for your staff. Testifying experts will also gain knowledge as to the inner workings of both their clients (if they do insurance work) and the hurdles they will be expected to overcome. A concise well written read that covers all the salient issues relating to this field.
