Ummi writes with beauty, magic, and love. There was such beauty in the stillness, the pain shared, suffering endured, and courage summoned. Beauty in the gratitude expressed. There was magic in turns of phrase that took my breath away and made me pause and pray--for what? For understanding, for peace, for grace. And there was such love. The love of someone who knows--the highs and lows of bliss and broken hearts. I highly recommend this collection of poetry. Read slowly--your heart will thank you.
