About The Author
The co-author is Terry Bastian who is an ecological designer and artist. His artwork, working with museums and universities explores the relationship between our culture and nature. He is a proponent of “Ecological Design, the art and science of adapting human culture to nature.” This is his third foray into dementia, first as caretaker for an aunt with Alzheimer’s, then he had lost his memory due to exposure to a solvent for two hellish years. And finally, while working on an environmental start up in South Florida, his partner Kris Anderson was stricken with early onset Alzheimer’s that started them on the journey to learn about food and brain health. Kris had once upon a time worked the art beat for the London Times then as VP of communications for Fitch Ratings Inc. where she traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and Africa, then settling down in Salem MA. USA.
