The character of Greg Donovan, named in honor of my younger sibling, first appeared in the short story, “Transport,” in which a young man, not reaching his full potential in academics, signs on as a Cargo Liaison on a futuristic cargo ship serving the Mars colonies. His uncommon love of diagrams and schematics works in his favor. First published in the book, “Kellerman’s Five of a Kind.”

His second time at bat was in “Spacesex,” a libidinous tale of sex and murder on a space station with five thousand inhabitants. Just as ill intent and sex seem to exist everywhere, a space station if no exception. An adjunct tale in the book, “Precipice.” Not a tale to be shared with the kids.

Now an accomplished Security Chief, the still young Greg Donovan is ordered to the Moon’s first science colony, Moon Base Delta, where even on a distant body in space, murder comes calling.
