Book Synopsis
This book tells the story of a man's spiritual journey from childhood through seminary, from
life as a friar and priest to life as a husband and father to six. He does not lose his faith when he
gives up his holy garb. Rather, his faith only deepens and grows in the well-plowed field of family
life. The book is mainly a testimony to unconditional love, God's love which is discovered not so
much in books as in people, God's great and wonderful people, as they struggle with all kinds of
trials and tribulations. The author points the reader back to the beauty of the kneeler, where one
rests before God in the Truth, as St. Francis would say, "i am who i am in Your sight and nothing
else." The bottom line is that we need God, and none of us is God.We are all broken, wounded,
hurting, in need of forgiveness and then in need of sharing the love we have found with each other.
The author, Michael, longs to be a mike, as in microphone, to magnify the God in others.
