Book Synopsis
Stonehenge, the first World War I Memorial in the United States, is located at Maryhill, Washington, 3 miles east of the Maryhill Museum. It is a memorial in honor of the 17 Klickitat County servicemen that lost their lives during World War I. The book includes a brief history of the war, history of how Stonehenge came into being, and information on each of the 17 servicemen whose names are on bronze plaques on the Stonehenge columns.
