Wow, I did it! Thank you "Guys" at TheBookPatch" for this opportunity. Never did I dream that I would create and publish a book. Great learning experience. Thank you for your time, expertise and creating this site.

Hi. Normally this is something I would email the website about but the few emails I have sent have not been replied to. However, I have gotten responses on the forum so here I am. I have two issues. One, is that on the front page of the new site where it has all the new releases, my book The King's Son, has the wrong title under it, Real Eyes (not that big of a deal). Two, a review for my book was accidentally posted onto someone else's book. I know the person who did this sent an email a week or two ago to the site to have it removed, however it has not. I really don't like doing this on the forum, but like I said, no one has resonded to anything I have sent. I had an issue with a book that looked like dust was on it before it was printed and then afterward they flaked off, leaving a bunch of white dots all over the book. I was too embarassed to sell it to anyone and I even checked with my husband to see if I was being unreasonable. He agreed with me.

I don't want to sound like I am ragging on the site. I love the site and most of the books I have ordered or other people have ordered have looked great. And I realize that a lot of work is going into improving the site recently. However, the customer service part really needs to be worked on, especially since email is the only means of communication when someone has an issue.

1. We responded to you with an e mail asking you to clarify. Now that you have we can see the problem and we will or have already corrected it.

2. As for the flaking on your book, we are sorry to hear about that. We will reprint one for you and ship it at no charge.

Still couldn't find all those emails but everything was fixed! Thank you! And thank you so much about the book, I am keeping an eye on the mail for it!

I just wanted to voice my extreme dissapointment in this site and business. I have been trying and trying to get two books that I was told would be sent to me for the books I ordered that were printed badly. One was two months ago and the other one month ago. I am not getting responses to the many emails I have sent. I have checked my inbox, spam, trash, and junk folders. So I know I am not getting anything. I have been trying really hard to give this site a chance but I am at my limit. I really didn't want to post to the forum again but I don't see any other option. At this point, I'd drive there to pick up the books. All I want are decent copies of the books I paid for!

If someone was to read this post they could assume you never got any good books from us and were completely dissatisfied, so why don’t we correct the record.
According to our records you and others have already ordered and received 33 books or so.
To quote you from a previous post from 2/1/2011 you said “I love the site and most of the books I have ordered or other people have ordered have looked great.”
The problem of flaking on the cover occurred in two copies and for some reason the free replacement books we promised got lost, we are working to rectify this and apologies for the inconvenience.

I will clarify the issue I am having with this site so that people do not misunderstand what I am saying. I would hate for my posts to be misinterpreted. My issue is not with the site itself or even with the print quality. My issue is with the people, poor communication, and poor execution in their promises. I am not at all hiding the fact that I have used this site and have been satisfied with it. Since January there have been 33 orders of my book, "The King's Son". 30 of those copies were through me for those I knew who wanted a copy but did not want to order themselves. Though several had flaky covers only one was so bad that I refused to sell it. At this point I was still very satisfied with the site. I mentioned on the forum about the cover in addition to some issues with a wrong review and wrong title on the main page. I did this because I was not receiving any emails in response to ones I had sent (I was told that responses were sent though). I was told that a replacement book would be sent for the severely flaky one. I was very happy. A month later I had not yet received it so I had been sending emails to get what I was promised. Still happy with the site, I ordered a copy of my other book, "The Lioness and the Cheetah". This one was printed completely off, very obviously an error on the printing side. So I once again messaged the site about the issue. I was told that I would get a replacement copy. I also reminded them of the other book and I was told they would be sent out. Alas, 2 months from the first and 1 month from the second, I have not received either. I have sent many emails explaining the issue, I have been told several times that they would be sent out, and even more times I have been asked to reexplain the issue. I feel that after 2 months I am justified in my irritation. I hate posting this on the site but I feel that doing this brings more attention to this problem. I still plan on using this site and I still recommend it to others, however, I just want what I was promised.
And as long as we are quoting previous statements, on 2/2/11 you posted in response to my comment, “As for the flaking on your book, we are sorry to hear about that. We will reprint one for you and ship it at no charge.” And then on 3/18/11 I received an email saying this, “I don't know how this issue got lost in the scuffle and I'm not trying to make excuses. All I can do is make sure the order goes through today and we get the books to you ASAP. I'm on it now.”

Finally received the copies of the books I was told I would get, today. I was very happy especially when I saw that thebookpatch had sent two of each rather than just one. I was so happy that I went to remove a post I put up on their facebook page when I saw that they already deleted it and removed my ability to comment on their page. Therefore my happiness has been mostly diminished by this fact. Anyway, thank you TBP for finally delivering on your promise.
