Synopsis
This is an autobiography of Shirley William Brown, born in West Virginia, served in WWII on B-24s in the Pacific, and migrated to California after the War. He ran several businesses culminating in the sale of Casa de Oro Hardware and retirement in Spring Valley, CA. In this book he relates his life growing up in West Virginia, serving in the B-24 crews and life after the war and includes a short survey of the ancestors of the Brown family.
