Book Synopsis
Tales of a Therapy Dog tells the story of a unique therapy dog named Angel, a Golden Retriever born with three legs and one eye. Some people advised her owner to put down the puppy—because of Angel’s perceived disabilities—but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Angel is a puppy, spared through kindness, who was given a purposeful life. Since her birth on a Texas ranch, everyone from her breeder to her adopter to her trainers, hospital patients, assisted-living residents, city officials—anyone who meets her—falls in love with her friendly, enthusiastic charm.

This story is about the love of many people and the love in the heart of a little puppy, who grew to become an extraordinary therapy dog.
