Book Synopsis
Noah Pilipski, founder and author of Peaceful Golf; A Journey Into The Unknown, has been recognized as one of the top teachers in America by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Join him as he takes you on a journey through his history with golf. Along the way he will show you a new approach to the game that few ever knew existed. Noah's ability to communicate the subtlety of the subconscious mind is unfounded and will have you questioning not just the game of golf but life as well. The creative approach taught in Peaceful-Golf will show you how freedom in the mind leads to freedom in the swing. "A free swing is limitless."

A very disappointing book . It is a story of his own golfing life and a few of his friends and there is about 100 pages of monotonous reading and I was thinking when is he going to give an insight in how to accomplish Peacefull Golf but it never came . A waste of time .

Not sure why the previous reviewer was not satisfied. I met Noah on the course a few months ago and was very excited to get my copy of his book. I was hopeful from talking to him that he could help my game. The book starts with Noah telling us how he came to love golf and making it a career path. I must say this is not a traditional golf book in any sense of the word, with that being said he really does make you think about how the game is taught. He has a very unique theory on how to approach the game and learning. I was hesitant that it wouldn't work for me because I am a beginner and thought this would be best for an accomplished player after reading the book. The book is a very easy read and I finished it in one sitting. Once I got to the range and began applying what Noah said I became very surprised at how quickly my game began to change. My distance increased by 10yds along with better consistency and I was certainly having more fun. My handicap is around a 25 so frustration is certainly part of my game. I have been working on this method for about 2 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. On a side note Noah is a really great guy to play golf with and his game speaks for itself. He shot a 72 the day we played and he certainly seemed to practice what he preached. He never got frustrated or angry which I see so many guys do. thanks for writing this book Noah and I hope to see you on tour one day. I highly recommend this book!

Great book. Thanks for the inspiration. I've always admired the game of golf and have wanted to play. I saw Mr. Pilipski on a Golf Channel tv special and his words really had an impact on me. I immediately bought his book.
I found this book very refreshing. This is not an instruction manual. If that's what you're looking for, there are countless other books that will teach you various golf methods and mechanics (i know because i've bought at least 20 of them!). This is a book showcasing the life and progress of one man - the development of a single individual who comes to realize what's really needed for him, and anybody else for that matter, to reach the full potential in golf. I enjoyed reading about Noah's humble beginnings and how he reached the ultimate pinnacle of Peaceful Golf. This book has given me a whole new perspective on both golf and life.
I highly recommend reading Peaceful-Golf if you are looking for some inspiration and a much needed new approach to golf. I would almost say this is both a philosophy and a golf book.
I only gave it 4 stars out of 5 for one minor reason - I would have liked to have purchased a hardback copy of the book but unfortunately only the soft back was available.

Good quick read. I agree that's it's both a philosophy as well as a golf book. So much to learn from this book. I'm a beginner golfer and I've adopted Noah's approach to my game - I definitely see the difference. I've only been playing golf for a couple of months. My attitude toward the game has changed and I find myself getting less frustrated. I'm playing better than ever! Very exciting. I haven't read any other golf books or adopted any past methods in my playing - but after reading this book and seeing how well I'm playing and feeling now...I'll stick with Peaceful Golf!

Great job! I used to be frustrated when golfing but my "Peaceful" son taught me how to enjoy the game and my score has improved along with this revelation. I found his book a beautiful story of his journey and was moved many times by his strength when he could have given up he powered on peacefully. I am proud of the man he has become and continues to be. Much love Mom

I sat on this read for months before I actually read it , because i was waiting for the right time (mentally) to accept this information . Suddenly last week I found myself in the ER having chest pains and subsequently 3 stents put in . During my recovery I revisited Peaceful golf and found healing and joy in the read. You see , I was a head golf professional and teaching pro for many years and still teach golf conventionally at three different locations . While I still believe in sound fundamentals.... the reality is that neither me nor my students could ever reach their full potential without the techniques Noah reveals in this little gemstone of a book .
The story is engaging and I actually breezed right through in 2 sittings . Noah's insight into the mental side of the game is right on point and challenges one to examine their though process in golf and everyday life . I've been experimenting with his visual and mental imagery techniques for some time now and I will say that there is a learning curve .In time you'll be on your way to a new enlightened perspective of freedom ,creativity and trust not only on the golf course but in life itself .
