Book Synopsis
The Organon of Medicine by Samuel Hahnemann contains a treasure of information about every aspect of homeopathy, including Hahnemann’s views on best practice and how homeopathy works. Grant Bentley examines aspects of The Organon in reference to contemporary practice, with focus on its place in relation to scientific thought and universal principles. Through examining natural laws, the author highlights the important strengths of the foundations of homeopathy, while also indicating some aspects of Hahnemannian thinking that are open to new interpretation, in the light of a further 200 years of practice.

Building upon the author’s clinical use of natural law in determining miasmatic dominance, How Aphorism 27 Changed The World is an important addition for the homeopathic library.

Grant Bentley has written three other homeopathic books -Appearance and Circumstance, Homeopathic Facial Analysis and Soul & Survival. His methodology Homeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA) is practiced around the world. Grant is a homeopathic practitioner, teacher and scholar, and is currently the principal lecturer of the Victorian College of Classical Homeopathy in Melbourne, Australia.

Grant’s book is a wakeup call to homeopathy and has the potential to change the evolutionary face of homeopathy. Grant cites real examples from clinic that challenge accepted contemporary beliefs. Is all chronic disease caused by an external, infectious agent? Are chronic stress and exhaustion key factors? Is symptom totality the only factor in selecting a remedy or is the internal miasm required? Is the multi-miasmatic theory and the layers approach valid? Is essence prescribing preventing us from understanding the full range of a remedy’s potential? Are the mentals more important than the objective generals? Is a single high potency dose as effective as daily dosing? Do medications antidote? Is a healing crisis necessary or dangerous? These controversial topics and more are examined. This book will become your bible for treating chronic disease.
