I love this book it's awsome . I use the D.B.T skills everyday of my life because I'm a recovering addict and it helps me tremendously. It wasn't much long ago that I was introduced to the D.B.T skills there amazing! !!!

About The Author
This project is a little different from the DBT worksheets, videos, articles and essays that I distribute to my peer community, it is an intimate collection of my poems reflecting upon various aspects of my BPD and DBT journey. When I attended mindfulness training in 2013 with Dr. Linehan, she read from Song of the Bird by Anthony de Mello, which reĀ awakened the poet in me and added a completely new dimension to my skills practice. When I write, sing, play guitar; I am entering the paradox. Intense emotions my environment would otherwise invalidate become admirable forms of expression. Inspiration moves me to soothe myself. Therefore, the emotions I feel are not so much regulated as allowed to be.
