But after New York Tribune publishes a hit piece on North Carolina firm Guyer Apparels, Inc. the CEO sends him on damage control mission to their suspect supplier in Guatamala to rescue the company’s reputation. Each novelette in the Executive Literature Series features a heroic business executive confronting a dramatic business problem along with personal and family challenges. Characters typically exemplify the masculine and bourgeois virtues of prudence, ambition, competitiveness, and leadership while grappling with questions of ethics, morality, philosophy and theology with an emphasis on attitude, choice, and human action. Additionally, the stories often advance free market economic ideals. Ultimately, good is more exciting than evil.
