Book Synopsis
54 takes place on a beautiful golf course just north of Boston during fall foliage at its peak creating a spectacular backdrop for this contemporary romantic golf adventure. The story spans ten years and culminates in this competitive golf tournament with Jim Peters challenging the demanding course alongside his best friend Max Johnson. This journey takes you through their golf adventures with the women in their lives and an exciting suspenseful twist all the while chasing golf’s ultimate goal. 54 is a fictitious golf story and a love story both the golf enthusiast and the non-golfer will equally enjoy.

Virtual reality is all the rage today and “54” is virtual reality in its purest form! It was so well written and so authentic that I felt like I was walking the course with the characters. I could almost smell the freshly mown fairways, see the flight of each shot and hear every putt drop into the cup! And then the stories about the women! I’d like to say that the stories were just like what you’d hear with your Saturday foursome but they’re way better! “54” absolutely takes you on a journey through both a golf tournament and the lives of a couple of good friends. And, like most amazing journeys, you find yourself taking it all in as fast as you can and, at the same time, hoping it’ll never end!

Finished it in one sitting! “54” is 2 great stories that stand alone, yet are so much better together! I couldn't put it down. The love story actually brought a tear to my eye and the golf is dead solid perfect!
Awesome gift for the sport enthusiast, golfer, or hopeless romantic on your list!

Reading this book was the best thing I could have done on a Sunday evening. It was beautiful. The concept of the "love story" being told among friends between shots during a golf tournament was creative and engaging. The author has a knack for pulling the reader into the story. I couldn't wait to see what happened next...

This book was a page turner. Stayed up till midnight 'just to see what happened next'. Very well written and a great combination of a love story with pure golf. Even those that are not golf fanatics will enjoy it! I highly recommend it.

Talk about a page turner - I sat in front of the fire and read this in a day. I love the friendship between Jim and Max and how they have shared holes and stories of romantic forays over the years. As the holes progressed, the characters matured right alongside. And some of the doglegs and shanks along the way were surprising and kept me wanting to know more.
